The AdventHealth Murray Emergency Care Unit has received local, state, and national recognition as an exceptional emergency care provider and offers ambulance service. The Murray County Health Clinic, within the North Georgia Health District, is part of the Georgia Department of Public Health. Its mission is to promote and protect public health in the North Georgia Health District wherever people live, work, and play, through preventive programs including prevention of epidemics and the spread of disease; protection against environmental hazards; injury prevention; promotion and encouragement of healthy behaviors; responding to disasters and assisting communities to recover; and assisting communities in assessing the quality and accessibility of health services.
Operated by the nonprofit Georgia Mountains Health, a full-time medical and dental team provides care for people in North Georgia, including at their location in Chatsworth. All services are provided on a sliding scale based on family income.
